Accessibility statement
This site is built to meet WCAG 2.2 AA across both halves of the design: the dark shell you are reading now and the light booking flow you land in to pick a bike and check out.
What we did
Text and interface color pairs are checked for AA contrast on both the dark ground and the light booking surfaces, including the numerals, labels, and button text used throughout. Every interactive element, including the bike picker, works from a keyboard alone: the room of bikes is a single radio group, arrow keys move the selection between seats, and a live region announces which bike is selected as you move. Focus is always visible, on dark pages and on the booking flow, with a two pixel outline that never disappears behind a design choice.
Motion is opt in. The hero lines, the instructor ticker, and the reveal animations across the site all sit behind a check for reduced motion preference, and turning that preference on in your operating system turns all of it off here too. Every form field carries a real, visible label rather than a placeholder standing in for one. Every page on the site has exactly one heading at the top level, proper landmarks for the header, main content, and footer, and a skip link at the very top of the page that jumps straight past the navigation to the main content.
Known limits
The Spotify playlist embed on some instructor pages is a third party player. We cannot guarantee its accessibility beyond what Spotify itself provides, though the page around it, including the heading and the link, is built to our own standard. This is also a demo: email sending is simulated unless a real email service is configured behind the scenes, so a confirmation that says an email was sent may not have actually left the building.
Tell us what is not working
If something on this site does not work the way it should with a keyboard, a screen reader, or any other assistive technology, we want to know. Reach the studio at riverside@sculptxcycle.com and describe what happened and where.
